Film Types

The type of car tinting film is important!

Old Technology
Dyed: Dyed polyester usually reflects little heat, only coloured for appearance, will fade, discolour and bubble quickly.
Metalized: Layers of metal coating are applied to layers on clear polyester. Good performance, however may be illegal for cars (See 'Window Tinting Standards').
Dyed / Metalized: A dyed layer is placed over the metallic coatings (reflective film), colour change is inevitable.

Carbon: Colour Stable film, which will maintain appearance with no colour shift or fading - Guaranteed. Will block 99% of UV rays, strong heat and glare reduction properties.
