Exclusive Warranty

The main fear people have with window tinting is BUBBLES; they are ugly and generally a sign that the product is not working. The reason for bubbles is adhesive/glue breakdown. Many other things are blamed, but this is the real reason.

3M developed a superior adhesive that does not breakdown. Due to this superior adhesive 3M are able to give one of the most comprehensive and exclusion free warranties in the film industry today.

This unique warranty has the following features:

Nationwide Manufacturer and Dealer backed

3M have such confidence in the 3M Scotchtint and Scotchshield range that they back up the product with a comprehensive warranty backed not only by the installing company but also the world renowned 3M.

Labour and Materials replacement

3M Scotchtint’s Warranty is the only warranty that covers both labour and materials. Should a problem arise there would be no labour charges. This would be an expensive oversight if the faulty film would need replacing.

No out clauses

Some warranties have special out clauses that remove blame from the product and puts the expense to the purchaser of the film. 3M Scotchtint film has no out clauses.

An example of an ‘out clause’ is when the warranty states it would be void if “excessive heat” is involved. Others may void the warranty if “internal moisture” is involved (eg. air conditioning).

The 3M warranty is the simplest, easy to read, comprehensive (labour and product) exclusion free warranty available simply because the adhesive and film are compatible and does not breakdown.

So what will happen in the event the product is found to be defective under this warranty?

The seller will:

• Replace the Quantity of film proved to be defective.
• Provide Removal and Reapplication – Labour Free of Charge.

This warranty is valid in all states of Australia, through the 3M Energy Control National Dealer Network and is in addition to other such warranties as may be applied in law.
